The automatic spray paint line is an accessory line that coats the outer surface of finished tube and section for corrosion protection. It handles square tube 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm, wall 1.0 to 4.0 mm, length 6 to 12 m, at line speeds up to 60 m/min, running loading, cleaning, heating, spraying, conveying, unloading and stacking.

What Is Auto Spray Paint Line for Tube & Pipe

Its process sequence is: loading, cleaning, heating, spraying, conveying, unloading, stacking.

In the business, it is positioned explicitly as an accessory. The company’s four product categories are welded pipe equipment lines, slitting and cut-to-length lines, cold roll forming equipment and H-beam production lines, with the automatic spray line listed as an accessory to them rather than as a fifth category.

From the plant’s side, it is bought so that pipe and section makers can coat finished product automatically as an in-line step, with the surface pre-treatment, heating and spraying made continuous so that the cycle matches the main line rather than becoming a bottleneck.

Why This Line Is Supplied as an Accessory

“Accessory” is a precise term, not a modesty label: the coating line depends on a main production line in three ways.

In use, pipe and section plants coat finished product with it as an accessory to their welded pipe or forming line, with the takt matched to the main line.

On the supply side the link is strongest: the coating unit is dismantled and containerised together with the main line, delivered and assembled as one job, with a separate shipment negotiated case by case.

Taken together, these points make a specific commercial statement — this is a line bought with a mill, by a plant that already knows what it is producing — and they explain why the parameter set is about the workpiece and the speed rather than about the coating chemistry.

Tengtian’s product range covers four business categories — welded pipe equipment, slitting and cut-to-length, cold roll forming, H-beam — with the automatic spray line offered as an accessory to them.

What the Specification Covers

The specification covers the workpiece range, line speed and process sequence. Coating process parameters are supplied on request.

Wall thickness, line speed and shift output are confirmed against your pipe size, material grade and cut length at quotation. Send us those three and we will state the figures.

Who Asks for a Coating Line

Only the first has a bound, the 60 m/min line speed. The typical buyer is the regional pipe and section maker: small to mid-sized, building or expanding, sensitive to investment payback and to running cost, and judging equipment on return on investment, changeover efficiency, tooling and energy cost.

A second profile matters here too: buyers expanding an existing plant order from the same supplier for compatibility, which is exactly the situation in which a coating line gets added to an existing mill rather than bought on its own.

A third sits behind both. Stable, low-fault operation of a first line is what drives a repeat or add-on order at all, and continuous supply of spares and rolls goes hand in hand with it. An accessory line is usually the second order from a customer, not the first.

For that buyer a coating line is a margin decision rather than a capability decision — coated tube sells for more than bare tube, and the question is whether the line pays back within the plant’s horizon. The three figures that decision needs are throughput, paint consumption and labour displaced.

Applicable Standards for This Line

All three are standards for a finished steel product, not for a coating process or a coated surface.

As for certification of the machinery itself, no single mandatory certificate applies to the equipment; what governs is the machinery-safety requirement of the destination market together with the product standard the buyer’s own pipe must meet.

Coating and Corrosion Protection on Other Lines

For heavy bare-shipped units on large-diameter and API lines, rust protection is a packing and handling requirement during sea transport — a temporary protective measure applied to machine frames, not a product coating applied to pipe.

The Downstream Application That Drives It

Fence and furniture tube is the delivery example: one of our deliveries, to the furniture industry in Malaysia, was for HG60 × 3 mm tube. Of the six downstream applications, the one most obviously connected to surface coating is home and furniture products, where appearance and corrosion protection are part of the finished article rather than a construction requirement.

Structural applications are the larger population — construction is where most of our lines have ended up — but coating requirements there are project-specific.

Buying It Together With the Mill

Delivery and scheduling follow the main line: 50 to 90 days, plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base, with installation and commissioning included and engineers dispatched on site.

Because the line is bundled, the practical questions a buyer asks are commercial rather than technical, chiefly service and payment.

After handover, the service position is a single point of contact responding within one hour, round-the-clock online support, on-site dispatch and direct spare-parts shipment.

Payment is flexible: thirty per cent deposit against seventy per cent before shipment, with third-party escrow and staged payment available, and multiple trade terms supported.

How to Choose the Right Model

Does your product fit the workpiece window? Square section from 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm, wall 1.0 to 4.0 mm, length 6 to 12 m. Because the parameter set is small, the selection questions are few.

Outside that window the configuration is quoted case by case.

Does the cycle match your main line? The design intent is that pre-treatment, heating and spraying run continuously and that the takt matches the main line. A coating line faster than the mill is wasted capital; slower, and it caps the plant.

Film thickness, cure schedule, paint consumption, booth and oven configuration and extraction are worth raising at enquiry stage.

Who benefits downstream? The beneficiaries are projects requiring corrosion-protected tube, and the operators are the coating-line crew.

Scope of Supply, Installation and Commissioning

The general delivery facts apply as they do to the main line: knocked-down container shipment with precision parts crated, installation and commissioning included with on-site dispatch, delivery 50 to 90 days.

Stable operation of a first line is what drives an add-on order at all, which is the usual route by which a coating line is bought.

Tube surface coating line

In short: an in-line accessory coating line for square tube 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm at up to 60 m/min, bundled with a main production line, with process parameters supplied on request.

This line is supplied in a specific form. The coating line is sold bundled with a main line: it is dismantled and containerised together with the main line, delivered as one shipment and assembled on site as part of the same job, with a minimum order quantity of about one set, and a separate shipment negotiated case by case.
