It is produced on the lower steps of the high-frequency welded family, and the automatic spray coating line exists as a bundled accessory for the coated finish.

What Is Furniture & Fence Tube Production
Home and furniture products are one of the six downstream applications of our lines. The tube itself is ordinary straight-seam welded carbon steel tube: coil is uncoiled, roll formed, welded by high-frequency induction, sized and cut, and comes off as round, square or rectangular section.
Our welded tube lines give downstream pipe plants continuous production capacity, converting strip into standard straight-seam welded pipe for fluid transport, building structure, machinery and home products.

Target Pipe Sizes and Wall Thickness for This Application
Equipment envelope, welded tube family. Twelve steps HG32 to HG630, finished outside diameter Φ10 to Φ630 mm, wall 0.5 to 16 mm across the family. The lower steps and their windows are HG32 at Φ10–32 mm, HG50 at Φ16–50.8 mm, HG76 at Φ12.7–76 mm, HG89 at Φ32–89 mm and HG114 at Φ45–114 mm.
Equipment envelope, coating line. The automatic spray line handles square tube 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm, wall 1.0 to 4.0 mm, length 6 to 12 m, at up to 60 m/min, running loading, cleaning, heating, spraying, conveying, unloading and stacking.
| Mill step | Finished outside diameter | Wall thickness | Welder power |
|---|---|---|---|
| HG32 | Φ10–32 mm | 0.5–1.5 mm | 150 kW |
| HG50 | Φ16–50.8 mm | 0.8–2.0 mm | 200 kW |
| HG76 | Φ12.7–76 mm | 1.5–3.0 mm | 250 kW |
| HG89 | Φ32–89 mm | 1.0–4.0 mm | 300 kW |
| HG114 | Φ45–114 mm | 1.5–5.0 mm | 300 kW |

Where the Coating Line Comes In
What it is: an accessory line that applies an anti-corrosion coating to the outer surface of steel tube and section, running loading, cleaning, heating, spraying, conveying, unloading and stacking. Its design intent is that pre-treatment, heating and spraying run continuously with the takt matched to the main line, so that it does not become the bottleneck.
How it is sold: bundled. The coating unit is dismantled and containerised together with the main line, delivered as one shipment and assembled on site as part of the same job, with a minimum order quantity of about one set and separate shipment negotiated case by case.
Our four product categories are welded pipe equipment, slitting and cut-to-length, cold roll forming and H-beam lines; the automatic spray line is an accessory to them rather than a fifth category.
Furniture tube is the application where an in-line coated finish is most often part of the product rather than a site operation, which makes the coating line especially relevant.
Surface Quality Is a Forming Question First
Wall thickness, line speed and shift output are confirmed against your pipe size, material grade and cut length at quotation. Send us those three and we will state the figures.
Squeeze amount and seam alignment govern the weld bead: the failures are seam offset, mismatch and flash. Sizing and straightening govern dimension and straightness, with oversize, bow and ovality as the failures.
Forming and sizing rolls are classified as wear-replacement spares rather than consumables, and a changeover roll set is supplied with the line.
Forming and sizing rolls are the first determining component for shape accuracy, roundness and squareness, surface corner lines and dimensional consistency. Roll material and heat treatment are the governing inputs; when they are under-specified the symptoms are early roll wear, diameter drift and crooked corner lines — all of them visible on a finished furniture tube.

Small Diameter, High Volume, Frequent Changes
Continuity: an automatic shear and butt welder joins successive coils and a spiral accumulator stores strip so that forming and welding continue through the join — not stopping to change coils is one of the four reasons plants buy a line like this.
Changeover: setting a new size means roll change plus roll-gap and servo adjustment and re-centring on a conventional line, or servo adjustment only on a direct-forming line, with profile drift and trial scrap as the cost of doing it badly.
Operator setup and quick tooling change are reducing that scrap, and spec-change drift is a quality dimension in its own right with batch-to-batch variation as the symptom.
Furniture and fence work is usually many sizes in modest quantities, so what matters is not the biggest diameter the line can reach but two other things.

Fence Tube: Which Line Step Makes It
Fence tube in the sizes normally used is small-diameter welded carbon steel tube, and small-diameter welded carbon steel tube is what the lower steps of this family produce — HG32 at Φ10–32 mm, HG50 at Φ16–50.8 mm, HG76 at Φ12.7–76 mm, HG89 at Φ32–89 mm and HG114 at Φ45–114 mm.
Home and furniture products are among our downstream applications, and one of our reference deliveries is a furniture-industry customer.
Why the Coating Line’s Window Matters Here
The mill family covers Φ10 to Φ630 mm across twelve steps in round, square and rectangular section. If a coated finish is part of the product, the coating line’s own window becomes a second constraint on top of the mill’s, and the two do not automatically agree.
The coating line’s window is square tube 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm, wall 1.0 to 4.0 mm, length 6 to 12 m.
Who Buys at This End
Delivery and service work the same way as for the rest of the range: 50 to 90 days, knocked-down container shipment with precision parts crated, installation and commissioning included with engineers dispatched on site, and after handover a single point of contact replying round-the-clock with direct spare-parts supply.
A second profile matters where dimensional consistency is the sales argument rather than volume: automotive parts and new-energy component makers, who judge on precision and process stability, and whose answer is the PLC industrial-computer control with variable-frequency and servo drive.
Payment terms are flexible: thirty per cent deposit against seventy per cent before shipment, with third-party escrow and staged payment available and multiple trade terms supported — which matters more to a small plant adding a coating line than the headline specification does.
Stable, low-fault operation of a first line is the precondition for any repeat or add-on order, and compatibility with the existing plant is why buyers expanding come back to the same supplier.
The profile that fits furniture and fence tube production is the regional pipe and section maker: small to mid-sized, building or expanding, sensitive to price and delivery, judging on payback, changeover efficiency, yield and energy cost, with the plant owner or equipment supervisor deciding.
The Responsibility Split
Material yield above 93% is supported by the line design, with actual yield also depending on the plant’s own operation and scheduling. For a product judged on appearance, it helps to be clear about which side of the line each defect belongs to.
The mill controls welder power matching, seam alignment and squeeze; the buyer controls strip quality and operation. Sizing accuracy and straightening capability are on the equipment side; incoming wall-thickness tolerance is on the buyer’s side.
As with every line we build, levelling and incoming inspection capability is provided, but strip grade and flatness remain the buyer’s responsibility, and poor incoming material produces finished-tube defects that no amount of forming accuracy will correct.
Applicable Standards and Inspection Requirements
On certifying the machinery itself: no single mandatory certificate covers the equipment, and what governs is the destination market’s machinery-safety requirement together with the product standard the buyer’s own pipe must meet.
On inspection: an ordinary high-frequency welded line carries no in-line NDT; final inspection is the catching step.
Worked Output Example
- Tube mill line speed and shift output — confirmed against your pipe size, material grade and cut length at quotation.
- Coating line speed — up to 60 m/min.
- Material yield — family-level design figure above 93%, with actual yield also depending on the plant’s own operation.
