What Is H-Beam Production Line
The line welds and forms H-sections rather than pipe. It runs on hot-rolled strip supplied as slit coil, and produces beams from 147 to 450 mm in height to GOST R 58966-2020, the Russian standard for welded H-sections.
It shares high-frequency welding with our tube mills, but the product is an open structural section, not a closed tube.

H-Beam Production Line — Range, Configuration and Output
The input is low-carbon or low-alloy hot-rolled strip in slit coil form, across a grade range of 235 to 590 MPa. Grade is what decides the mechanical properties of the finished beam.
The grades are the GOST family plus two Powerweld grades: С255, С345, С375, С390, С440, Powerweld 420 and Powerweld 460.
Web and flange thickness is 4–16 mm, extending to 20 mm. Beam height is 147–450 mm.

How to Choose the Right Model
GOST R 58966-2020 is mandatory for Russian and CIS H-section orders, and the line is built to produce to it — without that, those projects are closed. The decisive input here is the standard, not the size.
The second input is grade. Because strip grade sets the mechanical properties of the finished beam, and because grade and welding have to be matched, the grade you need is what fixes both the incoming material specification and the welding procedure.
The third is section size, read against the 147–450 mm height and 4–16 mm (to 20 mm) web and flange window.
Scope of Supply, Installation and Commissioning
ISO 9001 is held under number 18524Q11269R2S; CE certificates are held from UDEM for welded pipe equipment, cold roll forming equipment and slitting lines under three separate numbers, each checkable at the issuing body. Certification and delivery work the same way as for our other lines.
Unit-level scope of supply, installation and commissioning is available on request.
Why the standard leads on this line
On the other product families the buyer starts from a size and arrives at a model. Here the buyer starts from a standard.
GOST R 58966-2020 is mandatory for Russian and CIS H-section orders, and the line is ready to produce to it. Without that, those projects are simply closed.
That is why the grade list is part of the specification rather than a footnote: С255, С345, С375, С390, С440, Powerweld 420 and Powerweld 460, spanning 235 to 590 MPa. Strip grade sets the mechanical properties of the finished beam, and grade and welding have to be matched to reach the GOST properties.
The failure mode is direct: strip grade or quality that does not match means the beam’s yield and tensile properties are not reached and weldability suffers.
Who buys an H-beam line
The profile is the large energy or infrastructure group, gated on technical standards, delivery date and long-term service, buying through an engineering or procurement committee.
Their concern is exactly the one this line answers: whether the equipment can reach the standard the order is gated on. The response is to show the GOST H-beam capability and the grade coverage as equipment facts.
The purchase trigger is entering a new product type, and the switching trigger is a new standard market — moving into API 5L or GOST work with a supplier that has the compliant equipment.
Upstream and Downstream of the Line
Upstream is the slitting line: H-beam runs on slit coil, and slitting covers 1–12 mm thickness, 800–2000 mm width and coils to 32 tonnes. Downstream the target market is Russia and the CIS, where the GOST standard applies.
Certification, and what each certificate actually covers
ISO 9001 is held under certificate number 18524Q11269R2S, issued by National Standard Integration (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. under IAF MLA and CNAS accreditation.
CE certificates are held from UDEM under three separate numbers, and each covers a different line type: welded pipe equipment under M.2022.206.C72171, cold roll forming equipment under M.2022.206.C72172, and slitting lines under M.2022.206.C72173. A fourth CE certificate for cold forming is held from Ente Certificazione Macchine in Italy under 0P250616.HTWTT37.
Each number can be checked at the issuing body rather than taken on trust, which is why we publish numbers and verification routes instead of certificate images.
An enterprise standard, Q/GYLTT01-2023 for HGF150 high-frequency welded pipe equipment, is published on the national enterprise-standard platform. High-Tech Enterprise certificate GR202413001148 is held. The Madrid international trademark for TENGTIAN is registered under number 1 707 606. The patent portfolio is 30 granted utility model patents, with 7 invention patents applied for.
Delivery, payment and after-sales
Lines are dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames braced bare on cradles with designated lifting points and rust protection, precision and wear items in moisture-protected wooden cases with a spare-parts pack. Delivery takes 50 to 90 days.
Installation and commissioning are part of the supply rather than a separate quotation, backed by on-site dispatch and round-the-clock online support. There is a single point of contact, with a response time of under one hour. Payment is staged — 30 per cent deposit, 70 per cent before shipment — with third-party escrow and multiple trade terms available.
Anonymised reference deliveries
Our lines are running in more than a dozen countries — mostly on construction tube, and also on fire-extinguisher tube, furniture tube and other sections. Delivery cards show region and model or size; commissioning dates are available on request.
The material specification in full
Strip is hot-rolled, low-carbon or low-alloy, supplied as slit coil, across grades from 235 to 590 MPa. Grade decides the mechanical properties of the finished beam.
The grade list is the GOST family plus two Powerweld grades: С255, С345, С375, С390, С440, Powerweld 420 and Powerweld 460. Web and flange thickness runs 4–16 mm, extending to 20 mm. The selling points on the material side are three: coverage of multiple GOST grades, production to GOST R 58966-2020, and the 4–16 mm to 20 mm web and flange window.
Where welding sits on this line
The line is an HFW H-beam line: high-frequency welded forming, producing beams 147 to 450 mm high to GOST R 58966-2020. The failure mode is that poor welding or forming leaves flange and web dimensions or mechanical properties out of specification.
Strip grade and welding have to be matched to reach the GOST properties; this pairing is a quality factor in its own right.
The standard, and what it gates
GOST R 58966-2020 is mandatory for Russian and CIS H-section orders, applying to the product of this line, and the equipment is ready to produce to it. The consequence of not having it is direct: no entry to GOST H-section projects.
That makes the selling points on this line standard-shaped rather than performance-shaped: production to GOST R 58966-2020, and coverage across С255 to С440 grades.
What a buyer should send with an enquiry
Grade, beam height, web and flange thickness, and the standard the order is written against. With those four we can confirm what the line covers.
The short answer
This line is bought for one reason: to produce welded H-sections to GOST R 58966-2020 across grades С255 to С440, at beam heights 147 to 450 mm with web and flange 4–16 mm and up to 20 mm.
Unit list, line speed, output, welder power, yield and consumable life depend on the configuration ordered.
Beam height, web and flange thickness, line speed and output are confirmed against your section size, steel grade and beam length at quotation. Send us those three and we will state the figures.
What to send with an enquiry
Grade, beam height, web and flange thickness, the standard, and the annual tonnage you are planning. With those we can confirm coverage.
Reading this line against the welded-pipe families
Two things are shared with the tube mills and one is not.
Shared: the welding process is high frequency, the same principle used across the twelve pipe steps. Shared: the input is coil, prepared upstream by slitting within the 1–12 mm, 800–2000 mm and 32-tonne window.
Not shared: everything downstream of “it is welded”. The product is an open structural section rather than a closed tube, the governing standard is GOST rather than API or GB, the sizing parameter is beam height rather than outside diameter, and the material specification is a grade list rather than a wall-thickness band.
